Interesting Articles - Google, SOPA, and Pirates

Interesting article:
1. Google entering the Dark Side - http://gizmodo.com/5878987/its-official-google-is-evil-now

  • This is good and also bad... depends on how much  and how critical the information you share with them :). The question here is how can we protect ourselves and at the same time enjoy living with Google (Chrome, Google Search, Android, etc)? Can we use TRUST and PRIVACY? or educate ourselves?

2. Another SOPA but this SOPA is friendly to US - http://gizmodo.com/5878910/hey-nerds-dont-protest-against-the-wrong-sopa

  • Moral of the story - check out the actual and relevant news. Not all SOPA is bad.

3. Pirates of Carribean: Getting the actual product - http://gizmodo.com/5878776/the-pirate-bay-says-downloading-actual-products-is-next

  • Pirates are becoming more creative on attracting their customers. How can the IT giant protect their IP and at the same time does imposed strict regulation to users (which make us turn to pirates)?
