Once this happen, the only concern that I had is, are we (Malaysian) ready for this? With our infrastructure is still from achieving a high standard and our network which goes up and down especially during weekends or public holidays, this definitely has to wait.

Although early last year, TM launches Unifi and others follows with Maxis introduce their Home Broadband, and increase in bandwidth by Celcom, YES, DIGI, etc on their broadband but to me, it is just for sales and increase their profit, not for customer satisfaction.

All those can only benefits minority people. For example, Unifi only available at selected location. Same goes to others broadband. And there will be limit (right now, TM has yet to put the restriction on their user) to how much you can utilize the network.

Apart from that, our internet is still OK if there are not many people subscribe to that ISP. Else, if you subscribe 1MB, you will only get few KB during weekends or holidays and worse, you can't get connected to as I experienced most of my weekends.

So to me.... we are not ready to have IPTV yet.
