Setup Virtual Host on Server for Multiple Applications

You have multiple applications, for example:
1. CRM
2. ERP
3. HRMIS

Each of the apps has their own public folder; this only happen to applications running on Homestead (Laravel), PHP, or Apache Httpd, for instance the apps
1. CRM start folder is htdocs/CRM/public/index.php
2. ERP start folder is htdocs/ERP/public/index.php
3. HRMIS start folder is htdocs/hrmis/public/index.php

You wish that everytime your user goes to a site; for instance, www.crm.com or www.erp.com, www.hrmis.com, which all those application reside in the same server with the same ip address/url, it will still work and goes to the right path, here is the steps that you need to take to do that.

Just follow the following link in setting up virtual host to run multiple apps in the same server and IP but with different apps addressing:

  1. https://www.kristengrote.com/blog/how-to-set-up-virtual-hosts-using-wamp
  2. https://john-dugan.com/wamp-vhost-setup/
  3. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10873295/error-message-forbidden-you-dont-have-permission-to-access-on-this-server

Have fun in setting up your virtual apps :)
